Rock piles

Visitors to Nordkapp/North Cape sometimes leave piles of rock, or "Tourist cairns" as the locals call them.

This practice, assumed to serve the caravan campers as a sort of graphiti, disturbs the fragile nature of the high north. It is generally frowned upon and officially discouraged.
