Fancy Fox: Front
A new baby boy cousin is expected in my family soon and this is the quilt I made for him!
Title: Fancy Fox
Pattern: Fancy Fox II by Elizabeth Hartman
Fabrics: Robert Kaufman Kona Solids for the front, Cotton and Steel Dottie in Fedora for the binding and two different prints from the fabric line Fox and the Houndstooth by Andie Hanna for Robert Kaufman for the back. The specific kona colours I used were: mulberry, celestial, tomato, bluegrass, white, pepper and iron.
Quilting: Quilted using a free motion spiral using Connecting Threads Essential Cotton thread in a medium grey colour
Batting: Hobb's Heirloom Premium 80/20 Batting
Finished Size: 40" x 48"
Started and Completed: January 2015
See a photo showing a closeup of the backing, binding and quilting here
This was a quick and easy quilt to make -- I cut and pieced the top in two hours. If you want a cute, modern baby/child quilt this is a great option.
