So, the one song that has been wiped from history is slipping down the charts. The Bunnymen had the last of their four weeks at the top, but China Crisis were on the way to the top.
As you can see there were some mainstream pop in the charts in the shape of Spandau Ballet and Wham.
My infatuation with Pat Benatar goes on unabated.
On the 15th of February 1983, I entered the world of work starting a 6 month YOP scheme at a local electrical shop. It did not lead to a permanent job, but did get me off the streets, and the £25 a week helped me fund my vinyl addiction AND pay for driving lessons.
