Aside from a few directories, I've pretty much cleaned out my digital files. Now it's time to completely digitize my CD collection. Well, almost completely...I'll be keeping a small stack of stuff that's either really hard to find, unbelievably expensive to replace, incredibly important to have from a 'good taste' perspective, or for just plain sentimental reasons. The rest goes to a used record shop. Does admitting to this in public mean the RIAA will come after me with a rolling pin? I hope not. I'm very small fry, and not worth the effort.
It's probably easier to list what I'm planning on keeping...so, in no particular order, here it is:
Miles Davis -- Kind of Blue
Miles Davis -- On the Corner (Japanese import)
Miles Davis -- The Complete Bitches Brew
Miles Davis -- The Complete In A Silent Way
Miles Davis -- The Cellar Door Sessions 1970
Cowboy Bebop -- No Disc
Cowboy Bebop -- CD-Box
Donald Joyce -- Glass Organ Works
Brian Moore -- Chasing Clementine
Led Zeppelin -- The album with the guy with a bunch of sticks on his back (Japanese import)
Craig Taillefer -- Acoustic Blues
Shakerleg -- Handmade
Neil Gaiman -- Signal to Noise
Neil Gaiman -- Speaking in Tongues
Neil Gaiman -- Warning Contains Language
Transformers the Movie -- OST
Spider Robinson -- Belaboring the Obvious
Vangelis -- Blade Runner OST
Aphex Twin -- Selected Ambient Works 85-92
Jon J Muth -- M Soundtrack
Skydiggers -- Still Restless The Lost Tapes
Bob Johnson & Pete Knight -- The King of Elfland's Daughter
Leonard Cohen -- Various Positions
