Explosions in the Sky
As I did on G+ I'd like to thank everyone who still follows me after being away from here for a few months. Much appreciated. And to new followers some of who picked up on my foray into Street photography with the previous post. I'll stay attuned to that now and if I can find images with a similar vibe when I'm out and about I'll definately be doing more.
This is more back to my usual thing, I see a kind of beauty in scenes I know others may see as ugly or mundane. I thought the dark barren rocky and sandy ground round this old WWII Pillbox was perfect for it. So often they are overgrown with grass and weeds and look kind of quaint. I wanted an image with some tension, evocative of those times.
