"The Dragon Awakens"

Nicknamed the Sea Dragon, the Hvitserkur Sea Stack/Arch makes a dramatic portal for the sun's arrival on the northern coast of Iceland.

 

I had to lay prone on the freezing and soaked black sand beach to get this perspective but no one ever said that photography is for wimps!
