Too Heavy to Scrap

It isn't much to look at, but this old piece of equipment is a steam powered generator. Seen on the turbine deck of an abandoned power plant.

 

Still containing all of it's copper windings, the device is just too large and heavy for the typical scrapper/junkie to disassemble and tear apart.
