Yellow-Headed Blackbird

This species breeds from near sea level up to 6600 ft (2011 m) at Baldwin Lake in the San Bernardino Mountains, including at Mono Lake (elevation approximately 6400).

The pairs at Mono Lake appear to consist of one yellow-headed and one orange-headed bird. I haven't found reference to which gender may have the more orange coloration, but the Mono Lake population may have unique access to pigmentation if the lake's brine shrimp occur somewhere in their food chain (brine shrimp are used in fish food to enhance the coloration of tropical fish).
