January Sunrise at Topaz Lake

Bald eagles arrived at Topaz Lake in the Eastern Sierra this morning. They pass through at this time of year to clean up after calf births on nearby cattle ranches.

 

You can't quite make them out at this resolution, but I captured two in this photo, flying near the orange cloud.
