don't run away screaming, these are not your mom's brussel sprouts that have been boiled into a mushy, bitter mess. No!
Cut in half, place on a cookie sheet cut side up, sprinkle with olive oil (liberal amount), garlic salt, pepper, paprika and crushed garlic (or whatever spices you like)...pop them in a 350 degree oven till golden brown (about 40 minutes). The end result is buttery goodness that actually will taste good!
If you hate brussel sprouts you have to try them this way. Have to. You owe it to yourself, the farmer who grew them, the future generations of kids out there who, like you, would otherwise hate these little nuggets of yummyness..seriously!
(just don't burn the garlic...burned garlic is super no bueno!)
