Paper Clip in a Wind Tunnel
This is a paperclip floating on water. The lighting is a large softbox behind, shot through a set of blinds. I placed the paperclip on a fork and slowly lowered it into a black pan pan of water. I processed this at a white balance of 3000 kelvin to give it the nice blue color. I think the lines from the blinds look like smoke in a wind tunnel, hence the title.
