Gibson Excavating's CAT Dump Truck "CATastrophic"
Taken outside of the Walmart in Petoskey, Michigan.
A day or so before I shot this, my spotter alerted that a cool truck was coming down the main street into downtown Petoskey. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to pull out my camera and get the shot. I regretted not capturing such a great looking truck. That Friday, as we were getting out of the car to do some shopping at Walmart, I saw it pull up and park down our isle and ran over to take some shots. I don't see many CAT's (They were only made for a very short period of time) and this was such a pretty one I had to have some pictures. We then went into the store where there is a Subway just inside the entrance and I saw someone who I thought was the driver, so I stopped him and we had a short conversation. I told him that he had made my day because I love CATs and particularly those as pretty as his. Turns out, he was the owner of the company and told me where they were located and that his trucks would be parked there the next day (Saturday). He also said he had 4 CAT's. As you can guess, I went there the next day.
