Rear Dragging Chevrolet Two Door Custom Car
Taken at the Queen City Draggers' Tradition Rod and Custom car show held at Quaker Stake and Lube in the Milford suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Pinstriper and owner of the Sketch Pad, Taz Henschen and the Queen City Draggers always put on great car shows with amazing cars and great bands. This year was no exception.
Back in the day, my memory is that California hot rods tended to be low in the front and high in the back which was know as the California rake. Eastern cars tended to be low in the back and high in the front, but I don't remember what that was called. With the advent of air shocks, owners could quickly mimic any look they favored at the time. This one came in low in the back, parked and then dropped the back the rest of the way down to the ground. Anything for the look, but he'd better remember to raise it when it's time to drive home.
