Memorial Day Service held at the Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum in Cincinnati, Ohio. 80 year old retired High School teacher, Stan Wernz has been portraying Abe Lincoln at various events since 1969. He is a life-member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters, and has served as President since 2005. Since Union soldiers from the Civil War were the honor guards at the event, it was only appropriate that Abe was also present.
Abe told me that I took his picture much quicker than Matthew Brady did.
