Rusty 1950? Plymouth Two Door Sedan
Although this has an HDR look to it or looks like I did some type of strange processing, I didn't.
Michel's Collision & Restoration in Alanson, Michigan. Since I had a 4 door of about this vintage, I should be able to tie the year down exactly, but my memory of the details escapes me and they made basically the same car for several years. I loved the one I had. Mine had a visor on it which helped make up for the lack of air conditioning while driving on the Salt Flats. I bought it for $50 and drove it for several years. On a trip to California from Ohio we were using re-refined oil at the rate of a quart every 50 miles or so, I dropped a rod in Shelley, Idaho. We fixed it using standard sized bearings and piston and continued onward on our dry rotted front tires and recaps on the rear. Later the same Summer, we took it to Connecticut. We were pulled over in every state we drove through (truth) that Summer. Later I drove it on a dead battery for several months. I only needed about 10 feet to bump start it. What a college kid won't do to save money. Great car. Those old flat head sixes were just about indestructible.
