Photographing Orion
One years ago, when i decide to buy a modified DSLR camera, i try to do something special. Here is my latest work from Tibet:
The single deep exposure brings out the sky wonders of Orion, the hunter. The three bright stars in Orion's belt stand in a nearly vertical line above the horizon on the left. Just on both sides of Alnitak, the lowest of the three belt stars, are the Flame and the Horsehead dark nebula.
The magnificent emission region, just to the left of the two astro-photographers, is the Orion Nebula, M42, itself visible to the unaided eye. Rigel is the brightest star in this view, lies on the upper right of the picture.
