A Shadow of the Heart

I'm not sure who first discovered that a wedding ring casts a shadow of a heart on the pages of a book......but I find the outcome magical.
This is a reworking of one of my earlier attempts to capture this magic.
How it was done:
I took a book with blank pages and placed it near one of our windows where the sun was streaming in and where the shadows of the window screen were showing up on the white pages.
I then placed my wedding ring within the pages and took a macro shot of the resulting effect.
I then used a red filter embedded within my processing software to give the background a pink red tone with an old time weathered effect.
I am fortunate to have found the love of my life...... and here's hoping that you have - or will - as well.
