365 Days in the Peace Corps - Botswana
Day 13: My Peace Corps Boss
Let me introduce you to Oarabile Makgabana-Dintwa. She is my PM (Program Manager) for the PC (Peace Corps). As such she is my first point of contact at HQ (Headquarters) for any issue I might be having in the Field. While I was meeting with Oarabile, Elsa was meeting with the PCMO (Peace Corps Medical Officer) to give an update on her doctor’s appointment and to pick up some meds (Medications). The PCMO’s office is in the same building as the IRC (Information Resource Center) Next week Elsa will be back in GC (Gaborone City) for her quarterly PSDN (Peer Support Diversity Network) meeting. After I was done meeting with Oarabile I bumped into the CD (Country Director) and the SSO (Safety and Security Officer) so I chatted with them for a few minutes. It was a busy morning. Elsa and I are headed back to Mahalapye this afternoon with an ETA of 2 hours. (Now I can use these acronyms whenever I want and you will know what I’m taking about – TTYL)
