Boats at Sunset Bonaire
On July 19th, I traveled in a group of 15 scuba divers to Bonaire, an island in the Netherland Antilles, 30 miles north of Venezuela. The island is a scuba destination because it has clear water, virtually no currents, and relatively healthy coral reefs and walls.
We had 15 dives scheduled for the days and one night dive. I had my camera on all but one dive, so this frame is the first of a series, all but this one under water.
The boat in the foreground was our dive boat, with 2 dive masters helping with gear, entry and exit, and pointing out interesting targets like octopi, sea horses, turtles and eagle rays.
The sailboat further out sails each night around sunset, just for the pleasure of light refreshments while watching the sun set.
