Northern Pacific Steel Caboose 1062 at Rice's Point in Duluth, Minnesota 1964

When the steel cabooses began to arrive in 1951 the older wooden cabooses were downgraded and moved off of road freights to work yard and transfer assignments. This future BN car is shown on Rice’s Point in 1964 as it was originally built in 1954.
