Palm Springs Train Station circa 1946
I made this render based on a picture I found in a magazine, a modern Palm Springs travel guide. The picture depicted a train not unlike the Super Chief in front of the Palm Springs, California Train Station in 1946.
Though the architecture of the scene is made to be as close as possible to the actual photo but using LEGO bricks, some of my building techniques were inspired by Mister oo7 and used ldraw models from James Mathis (the Santa Fe Super Chief, to be exact).
My first time using focal blur and I am very pleased with the result! Click on "all sizes" for more yummy retro train goodness.
