White-crowned Sparrow

These little migrants spent the winter in the southern US and move through here only staying 2 to 3 weeks in the spring before moving on to summer in the high arctic tundras.

Their appearance changes depending wether they have their crest up or down or wether they extend their long neck out or where they keep their wings, hanging down or up on their back.
