Drosera glanduligera

This is a small plant which grows upto 6cm.

The flower is fascinating and because it is tiny, the details are not very visible.

The orange petals dominate the ovary in the middle. From the ovary centre are three styles which emerge and divide into two and divide again. The colour of the styles is so similar to the petals they are often invisible. From the edge of the ovary are the stamens which hold and release the pollen for pollination.

An intriguing little flower.
