Uglydoll Kokeshi - Sun Min Kim

This is a hand painted custom Kokeshi Doll by Sun Min Kim. This is from the "Kokeshi: From Folk Art to Art Toy" exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum held from July 11–October 4, 2009. Sum Min, who along with David Horvath are the Uglydoll co-creators contributed two Uglydoll themed pieces for the show. The first piece is Ugly Forest and the second is UglyWorm. Both pieces are original wooden Kokeshi pieces.
