2008.06.24 - my attention span at Evolution 2008
A little experiment in the spirit of Francis Galton: To see if my attention span changed over the course of the Evolution 2008 conference, I counted how many lines of notes I took at each talk I attended, then tested for an effect of the day of conference proceedings using a one-way ANOVA. Although there was a significant effect of conference day (p = 0.041), the boxplot confirms that there is not a trend in the length of notes I took (for a formal regression, R-squared = 0.0217).
