Raptor Release Day

One month ago this Bald Eagle was brought to The Lake Erie Nature and Science Center with an injured, but not broken, wing. After rehabilitation at both LENSC and the Ohio Bird Sanctuary it was ready to be released. A moment after the door on the container was opened it hopped out, spread its wings and flew off toward nearby Lake Erie.
