Alex, who's a good friend of mine, owns this gem - the Scion FRS. He gave me the keys and told me that I was the first one to drive his car other than himself. My opinion of it is very high. I just took it around the block, one highway exit and back. It reminded me of how I felt when I drove a Honda S2000, which I consider was the most fun I had while driving a car. The FRS is nimble and very responsive. The steering is so precise that you're practically a surgeon on the road. The suspension, although already upgraded by Alex, is very tout and confident. I'll admit that my WRX is faster, but this car is a whole lot more fun.
Speed is nothing if you can't use it. I'm not rich nor stupid enough to risk getting another speeding ticket. And even if I can go flat out on any straight road without risk, I'll still pick a well handling car versus a 500 horsepower beast. Spending a few minutes with this car is addicting and owning one must put a smile on your face each time you turn the key. I'm reminded of why I love cars in the first place and that isn't to go fast on a straight road. It's the feeling that I get when I have a connection with the machine. This car has "it".
