I’m probably a little too keen at the moment. It was 3:30am and I was on my way. At first it was looking good, stars and light cloud but shortly after hitting the highway I found myself in the middle of a whopping storm. None-the-less, unsettled weather has always been my friend so on I pushed.
After picking up Jake we pushed on to Norah head and met Trent shortly after 5am. With the rain still bucketing down we decided to throw in the towel.
After breakfast the rain was starting to ease and with a big night planned tonight it’s unlikely I’ll get another chance with Goose this weekend so i figured it was now or never. Fortunately Long Jetty was close by and it coincidentally had a nice high tide beneath it.
I first shot Long Jetty back in June 2012 and it’s been a place I’ve had particularly warmth to since so whilst I can’t see this being a shot that will adorn too many walls, it was still fun to shoot.
