Fat Lip Flake
Well since this might be my last chance this year to photograph snowflakes, I thought I'd share one from earlier this morning.. It's kind of funny, I actually gave myself a fat lip during the process which is why I gave it this title Fat Lip Flake.
My transceiver to fire my flash was on top of my camera & I went to put my camera over my head & around my neck somehow I misjudged the distance between my camera & face... enough said.
I've been asked if I Photoshop my photos, using a fake background or drawing a background in & no I don't. The background is not Photoshopped in.. I used some shiny neat wrapping paper and placed it a few inches below my glass baking dish which is placed up-side down to keep the distance needed to blur out the background. I also used an off camera flash with a Rogue flash bender.
Strobist info: 1/32 power YN468II triggered with YN622c placed about a foot away from my set up, flash bounced using Rogue flash bender.
