Eldritch Sim Halloween Photo Contest 2024
It's our favourite time of year once again, and last year's fun returns once more. Vae Victis is hosting a photo contest based on the home sim of Eldritch.
Utilise the scenery to create a photograph that you feels gives off the best vibes - spooky, creepy, eerie, lovecraftian... or just something serene and beautiful. It's all on you.

Any submission may also earn their spot somewhere in Eldritch if we find them befitting!

♱ Creativity, essence and style ("What's pretty, damn it" - Grim, 2022)

♱ Must be taken in the Eldritch Sim. maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Eldritch/64/166/1017
You are encouraged to explore all of the sim to find locations; there are so many nooks and crannies and hidey holes that could make for fun shots!
♱ Cannot rez on Eldritch.
Even if you have the ability to rez things (including pose stands) on Eldritch, please do not. We want this to be as organic to the sim as possible.
♱ One entry per person.
Please choose which entry you wish to submit carefully; we will only accept your first submission and there shall be no re-dos.
♱ Must send a notecard submission to Vae Starforge in world.

♱ Upload your image to either Flickr, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Primfeed or Bluesky and tag Vae Victis
♱ Send the link to your uploaded image, your legacy name via Notecard to Vae Starforge Notecards should be titled: "Eldritch Contest - InsertNameHere" and include a link to your uploaded image and the legacy name(s).(Including your UUID would be very helpful in case of name changes)
♱ Submissions will be accepted until October 25th
♱ Winners will be announced on October 31st in the Vae Victis notices, socials and server.
♱ We will put up entries in world and host them in the ballroom as we receive them. Winning entries will stay up for the remainder of November and may find permanent placement within the sim.
♱ You DO NOT have to wear anything from Vae Victis if you don't want to! We know that we don't fit with every outfit.
♱ There can be more than one avatar within the image but only one uploader can bag the prize. We will not be held responsible for any discrepancies over prize money, but we will bring the popcorn.
♱ By participating in this contest you are allowing us to upload your image to Second Life. These will not be sold/distributed to anyone but Mes and Grim.
