Nocnitsa is an amalgam of fears - scuttling creatures, hissing monsters, immeasurable heights and death itself. Once a prominent member of a royal family, she was cautioned to beware of threats posed to her life, unknowing that these warnings would rouse the egregious paranoia within her. She rapidly succumb to her reverie, becoming her own delirium, existing between life and death, between dreaming and not; within the in-between, a beast to haunt the nightmares of her own making.
