Self-portait
After trying to clean up a personal mess this past week in regards to the photo above, I've decided to put it back here where it belongs.
I feel that there is a basic level of respect that needs to happen in a forum such as this - and that was already violated (at least once) with this particular self-portrait.
If you are ever interested in using any of my photos, please ASK. I may say yes, I may say no. I think an individual should have the right to know when their work is being used, as well as have a say in where their images end up (especially of self or people they care about).
If you are concerned that your photos may currently be in use (without your knowledge) on a site that you feel is inappropriate or degrading to the standard that you set for yourself or your work, in some cases there are steps that can be taken to find them and remove them. There are Flickr members, as well as others, that are "blogging" member's images to unrelated sites. When it's done this way, there is a direct connection between your Flickr photostream, and their site. Your name may be there, or your ID/handle may be linked with that site. It may even appear as though you have uploaded it to that site yourself. I, for one, am not okay with that.
*253 of the "views" for this photo should be discounted as legitimate views. It was temporarily replaced with another image while trying to rectify the situation.
I again want to thank those members that were so supportive to me in this and were able to help with some quick advice.
