Beware the MASK !
The eyes and mouth consist of poison ivy tendrils
which have encased a huge poison ivy vine that is
crawling up and taking over a black cherry tree.
I turned this image upside down to exhibit the mask.
A recent snow in Western Pennsylvania has covered
the landscape with 4 inches of snow, enough to make
one more trek through the snow covered woods a delight,
one last time before spring !
