Historic Silver

Visible in part is one of the two silver water vessels (in City Palace in Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan in India), each of which measures 5 feet in height. The Guiness Book of World Records lists each of these as the largest single silver objects in the world.

When Maharaja Madho Singh II left for a journey to England, he carried with him the holy waters of the Ganges river in these containers.

[Coming soon . . . a reflection of the photographer in the other silver vessel. :-) ]
