1862 Hoarder House: Original Grand Staircase Location
Originally, the main grand staircase would have been in this space. The entrance hall would have been an "L" shape, with the stairs around the corner. The stairs were taken out and this extension of the hall walled off to create this strange small room. Sometime in the house's past it was subdivided into a multifamily house unfortunately.
A mind blowing estate sale that I went to in Connecticut. I would LOVE to own this house. (More info in the album's description)
