photo - Chicken Fried Steak, Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen

I'm not sure why I chose the chicken fried steak; there were a lot of other, fancier choices. The gravy was excellent -- not the thick white gravy of tradition but much lighter and with an interesting flavor that I couldn't place. The portion was huge. Since our hotel had a little refrigerator, I took half home.
