Bangaii Cardinalfish Story
I wanted to tell this story with one image. You know, worth a thousand words and all...
The Bangaii Cardinalfish is an invasive species to the Lembeh Strait. Once only inhabiting Bangaii Island, this popular reef tank species was accidentally brought to Lembeh Strait during transport for the reef aquarium industry over 10 years ago. Now the Bangaii Cardinalfish is infringing on the anemone based territories of the Clownfish in the strait, with unknown ramifications. North Sulawesi, Indonesia.
