Into the future with Universal Metric Time

In 2005 Swiss have proposed Universal Metric Time at the United Nations. UMT will be same all around the planet based on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) but in accordance to metric standard day is divided into 100 hours and the hour into 100 minutes and so on. The true benefit of UMT will be in international communication as we all , will be operation on the same clock. Canada and Switzerland are one of the first adopters of the standard. For the next year we will be using both types of time. It's expected that airlines will switch to UMT very soon as well. Time zones will not longer apply – 45 o'clock - will be exactly the same moment all around the planet. Personally I think that is a fantastic idea that will be bringing all nations closer.
