The ring body and the pure iron bottom of the chamber. I made 4 grooves and inlayed the bottom into the body. After I bent up the 4 pegs. Like my other more complex iron pieces, at the last stage I melted hard model wax into the gaps, than I rubbed off the excess by wire brush. This way the piece will be water repellent at the parts where water could get trapped.. However it is recommanded to dry it after getting wet and it is better if you don't wash your hands in this ring.
