STRANGER 12/100 TONI

Toni was manning a xmas market stall selling mulled wine, but fortunately she had no customers and looked rather lonesome when I approached her. With her wild hairstyle and image, I thought she might well agree to my request. I said I was doing a project photographing people, and the first thing she said was "Oh is it for 100 strangers? I've already done that!" I didn't know whether to be disappointed or pleased! Disappointed that someone had got in first (!) or pleased that she was obviously a willing subject. Anyway, Toni explained that it had been a year or so ago in Norwich. So she came out in front of her stall and we started doing some pics, much to the amusement of the other market traders. I changed my angle of view to include the xmas lights on a stall behind her and I feel this links in to her colourful scarf and adds wackiness to her portrait. I love her cheeky expression. Thanks for helping me Toni!
