A set of four books that I did for this years 'Faber & Faber' D&AD brief. The silver process is called 'omnicrom'. Which was fun to use, and my first time doing so.
The brief basically was to create book covers for a set of books for the 'Faber & Faber'. I chose to focus on the screenplays. And looked at the films: Donnie Darko, Goodfellas, Se7en, and The Big Lebowski. The brief described how Faber & Faber has a high status, with being in the industry a long time. Plus they wanted the logo to be incorporated into the design whilst the books being good enough to be given as a present/ or a collection- with still being able to be produced on paperback.
