There's a full moon rising...

Forgot the full moon tonight! My husband and I scrambled to find our cameras. I also forgot everything I'd ever read about shooting, ahem, the moon.

The Full Worm Moon is the last full moon of the winter and basically signals the start of spring—it's finally here!—which is when temperatures rise and earthworms begin to surface, hence the name. (And a million frogs begin to sing in the back fields!)

This full moon is also a supermoon, meaning it'll be the closest to the Earth at that time than it was the whole month of March.

Worm Moon 2019. I'm sure others will do better.

I wish all of you a good spring equinox or fall equinox. I'm grateful we have this day. I take nothing for granted lately.
