Whilst you were sleeping
I'm a country girl but I love visiting cities. It's so obvious there that all of our lives are happening separately but are also connected. Like in the movies when they pan out of some urban street scene of two drivers yelling at each other over a fender-bender and you can see the kids running through the fire hydrant 5 blocks away at the same exact time. Unlike my last image, this one I am completely happy with... it is exactly what I wanted it to be. Looking at it now gives me the same feeling as when I looked at it out our Ireland window, knowing each of these rooftops contained sounds and sights and dramas and lives separate from each other yet not really...like different pages in the same big book. I love when that happens. :)
Oh yeah, and the birds were there.
Take a minute to check out Museum of Flickr... I think it's a great idea and I hope it catches on! :)
