Matcha Cocoa Cupcake
A dense, heavy cupcake, marbled with chocolate and matcha. Coated with chocolate ganache and frosted with matcha SMBC, which is heavenly, I might add!
My second, and first successful, attempt at SMBC. I obviously need to work on my frosting piping skills, but the texture of the SMBC was so awesome I wasn't even paying attention to the way I was piping on the frosting!
I'm proud to say that this cupcake was the winner of December 2008's Iron Cupcake: Earth challenge, Chocolate With A Twist!
