Shirley Creamhorn & Shithawk
As a special birthday treat, my good friend & neighbour Shirley Creamhorn has sent me these photographs of a secret project shes been working on that she'd like to share with the world (shes not so hot at using computers)
This is a hand-painted prototype of a 5.7 inch toy, which is a minature version of the bronze statue she had commissioned for the courtyard of her estate (Shithawk mansion).
The statue, which features the beautiful Miss Creamhorn and her beloved best friend and mascot, the Shithawk, is going to be cast in Bronze iron and set into the driveway of her home.
She became interested in the cult of vinyl when I started showing her the various stages of Droplet, and become curious as to wether she could enter the world of designer toys.
I told her that i thought herself and the shithawk would make a great figure, so she pressed ahead and spoke to Big Spoon, to see if they would be interested in turning her shithawk-filled dreams into reality, and sure enough, Alex Avelino - the sculptor and man behind Big Spoon was 100% behind the idea!
So I present to you, 'Shirley Creamhorn & Shithawk', I hope she'll become as dear a friend to you as she has been to me!
