Christmas Decorating Idea Number One

If you have framed pictures on your wall why not update them for the holidays? It's a fairly inexpensive way to give your walls some seasonal color.

The cost would be tape, wrapping paper, bows, and ribbon (optional).

I didn't use ribbon this year but did last year (this year's decorating budget was cut)

So you measure your frame, roll out the wrapping parer (measure first to make sure your roll is the right size) then place your frame face down on the wrapping paper... This is as basic as wrapping a gift. Use tape on the back to secure the paper to the frame and add a bow to the front and or ribbon. Make sure that when you hang it the pattern is going to face the right way... if the paper covers the hook, you can typically get the nail to go through the hook or you can carefully tear around it to expose the hook on the frame.

Give it a try and let me know what you think! I am sure this is not original to me but I hadn't seen it before I was doing it a couple years ago.
