Our Bedroom View - My 1st Ever Sheet of 5x4 Exposed

Graflex Speed Graphic 5x4 • Fomapan 100 • 100 ISO • 1/25 sec • f/11

Developed in HC-110 • Dil. H • 9 mins • 20 degrees C • Scanned with Epson V700

The results are in - my first ever exposed sheet of 5x4 (or 4x5 for non-Europeans)! This shot was a bit rushed really, taken from our bedroom window (see the Instagram shot next to this one in my stream for the rough setup). I couldn't mount the camera on a tripod because the window sill is too deep and with the angle of view I'd have the window frame in shot. So the camera was moving around when trying to make adjustments and, worse still, when putting the film holder into the back. Thankfully the built-in viewfinder was there to save the day so I could double check the framing before releasing the shutter. The light was changing so rapidly, the sun was going down and also in and out of clouds, it was all a bit stressful for a first 'test shot'!

The view doesn't really work too well as 5x4 ratio, so I cropped the uninteresting sky and foreground to make a panorama.
