Vikos Gorge Sunset

I have not long returned from a week long trip to Greece. When most people think of Greece, they think of sun, sea and beaches. However, tucked away in the North-West of Greece are some fantastic mountainous areas.

I had visited before but I made a return to check out a few new locations to hold a workshop here in the future.

On the first day, after our drive from the airport we started out with an easy to reach location. This is Beloi overlooking Vikos Gorge. Vikos Gorge is the deepest gorge in the world with drops of up to 1000m in places. Dizzying.

The sunset we got was definitely better than the clear skies one I had on my previous visit and I also really liked the inclusion of the flowers you get at this time of year.

It was a good start to the week. I'll be announcing my Greece workshop soon. I'm actually in Ireland now, but will put it together on my return.
