Hidden Cascade (www.jamesbrew.com)

Discovering brand new places in your own backyard is one of the real joys of landscape photography. The drive to explore and shoot new locations pushes me beyond my usual boundaries and takes me to special places I’d otherwise drift past. This AMAZING waterfall in Tholt-Y-Will glen is a perfect example of this. I’ve driven down the valley thousands of times yet right under my nose this beautiful cascade sat waiting to be found all along. It was only my inner photographers’ curiosity which allowed me to find it. For me it’s the best waterfall on the island simply for the fact that its completely unspoilt, totally off the radar and not to mention downright stunning in every way!

NOTE: This waterfall is potentially very dangerous to reach. Be careful and if not a confident hiker, avoid altogether!!!
