On Saturday, it ended up raining most of the day. Desperate to get in a sketch, I drew this beneath the cover of some trees. There are a few spots where raindrops came down and blurred the ink. Today, still raining, I watercolored the image indoors, taking the liberty to make it appear like a sunny day.
A few things different than my usual in that I used a much larger 11 x 17 pad (tough to hold), and I sketched from the opposite side of the street including parked cars in the image. This is more like the typical street scene in the neighborhood. Park Slope, Brooklyn
